A Poem For My Unico Hijo

Primo Amisano

I cannot believe,
When the two lines appear.
That I finally conceived,
A little angel I will bear.

Nine months in my womb,
Nine exciting months of do’s and don’ts.
Sometimes it feels tiring,
Sometimes it feels nothing.

The big day has come,
For you to arrive.
Fear and excitement can’t subside.
Indeed! It was love at first sight.

How amazing this body can be
To bring a new life to be somebody.
We are grateful,
We are thankful.

For God abundantly blessed us
Beyond what we ask for.
Our sweet little angel,
Our Primo Amisano.
